We took Freckle Face out for a little boating today. It was fun. I was pleasantly suprised when I realized thatI haven’t forgotten how to paddle a canoe. OK. It really isn’t that hard, but still. I remembered.

Holy Moly! I am reflective! Even though I throughly applied sunscreen and it was only 70 degrees outside, I still burned. Too bad it won’t turn into a tan and give me some color.
Can you see why I love it here? Today I realized that I don’t want to move. Sure, there are things that get on my nerves, but this is home. I love the mountains and the water. It is going to be very hard to move from here if we have to. We should know very soon.
