I am just your average mom trying my best to raise polite children that don’t embarrass me in public. I have a wonderful husband who is trying his darndest to retire from the Navy, but there are forces working against him. We homeschool our children. We teach them fun things like Latin, Algebra and Biology in the hopes that someday they will find a career that they love.
The Navy has been good to us, and we have been fortunate to live in Singapore, Illinois, Florida, my own home state of Washington, and now South Carolina.
In the past this blog was a journal of my life. From toe-walking, homeschooling, daily trips with my kids, and military nonsense, it was all here. My children are older now and I am nearing the end of my homeschooling journey, so I am changing the theme of this little place of mine on the internet. Instead I will write mostly about food. This is really quite funny since in the past I avoided food posts as often as possible. I have left the other posts up for myself, but they are there for anyone interested.
